State Avenue Sew-along: Week 4
Week 4 is here and we're cranking out more blocks!!

Week 4 is all about making more blocks!
I have been having so much fun seeing everyone's quilts come together, and I can't wait to see more blocks this week. :)
I have made a lot of State Avenue quilt blocks by now and I have process that works for me to make several blocks at the same time.
First, I like to make and trim all of my flying geese for all the blocks that I am making. As you know, I'm not a fan of trimming so I like to get this step out of the way first! Then, I pin and sew the small squares to the geese following Figure L of the pattern and set them aside.
Then time to pin and chain piece all of the center pieces, following Figure J and then Figure K.
Then, I grab my geese and HSTs/corner blocks we made a few weeks ago and pin and get ready to chain piece the blocks. I will set up for Figures M and N at the same time.
Then, I pin and chain piece following Figure O, and viola! :)
Next week we'll make our final 6 blocks!!! Yay!
