Orangewood Quilt: The Inferno One
You can find the Orangewood Quilt Pattern here!!
Have you every seen a fabric line and just knew you had the right project for it! That's how I felt when I saw Giucy Giuce's fabric line Inferno. First, all of his fabric lines come in beautiful rainbows of color. Second, this line has beautiful color movement.
The Orangewood Quilt Pattern was specifically designed for a rainbow fabric pull and to represent being yourself and forging your own path. I knew that I needed to make one with some of his fabrics, and this was it!
I also wanted to go scrappy with the binding and make it a rainbow as well, and....I mean!!! This might just be the prettiest binding roll I've made yet! I decided to go with a simple, diagonal straight line quilting and I'm in love!
I backed with quilt with another Giucy Giuce print I love - Petri in Canary - and then finished it off with some big stitch binding.
I've decided to list this quilt for sale and will donate 25% of the purchase price to The Human Rights Campaign. :)
