Monte Vista Quilt - The Green One
The Monte Vista quilt is the first pattern that I released, and I'm coming up on the one-year anniversary of Nollie + Bean's quilt patterns. I wanted to make another one and in a mono-chromatic palette.
You can get your copy of the pattern here!
I selected some of my favorite green Kona cottons and a soft yellow to add a little dimension. The colors I selected are:
- Maize
- Zucchini
- Artichoke
- Olive
- Bonzai
This pattern is a chain piecing dream and comes together very fast! Even with a four-year old's constant interruptions, I was able to cut and piece the baby sized quilt top within a day!
I opted for a diagonal grid pattern for the quilting and backed the quilt with some fabric I have been dying to use in a project! The backing is Petri in Iguana by Giucy Giuce and it looks great with Kona in Avocado binding.
It was a lot of fun working on this pattern again! I hope you enjoy it as well! Thank you for reading along :)
